Contest

I’m catching a LOT of flak about the BORING names I’ve given my family.  Never mind that I had to keep them simple or I’d forget them when I blogged.  It’s not enough that I have to constantly stay on my toes to entertain you people with amusing anecdotes from my oh so boring life.  Now you want interesting names????

Fine!  Y’all name them.  Majority rules!  Here’s what i need:

Husband—–

14 yo son—-

12 yo daughter—–

Go ahead, fill in the blanks since you are all sooooooooo SUPERIOR to me!  I’m sure you can do a MUCH better job than I.  And maybe some of you dreadful lurkers will come out of the bushes and actually make a comment.  Blue Momma gets 36 comments a day; where’s my love????   Altho her kid is much cuter than me, I’ll give her that!

I’m going to Atlanta now, so leave me alone!  I’ll announce the results next week!

Well, obviously the prize is being a creative contributor to the best blog on the internet! Duh!!

I don’t get that many comments daily!!! And I leave my link everywhere! A few people are bound to show up. You don’t leave a link with your ever so witty comments or I’m sure they’d be showing up here in droves!!! Myself? I love your blog!

Seriously though, I hardly got any comments and then I did a post about not getting comments. It got tons of comments! I guess a couple of people decided to stay around.

Anyway, I’m here everyday. Where’s my love??

No suggestion on the names, though. My creativity level? Nonexistent.

I really liked Mud for the author. Very funny. I want my name to be mud but it wouldn’t be as funny.

    Hey aunt Jenn,
if you can tell I used names of historical people

14 yo son—-Napoleon, cause its awesome and napoleon bonaparte was a short guy and sometimes mean, just like josh!

12 yo daughter—–Maria Antoinette or just M.A. for short. Cause M.A. was all about girly whatnots but had a tough side too.

Husband—–Juan Perón or Perón for short. Cause Perón & his wife Eva fought for what they believed in, like you guys do! (plus there is a cool musical about them.)

you need to be happy that people can say your kids names.people get my name wrong all the time.& when I have kids (years from now)Iam going to name them wierd names, cause I can. they’ll just have to suck it up, lol.
-ps: I hope I win your contest!!!!

    –Love ya, Kiirah

Here’s the love, oh Great One. OK, here I come out of the bushes…your son should be “Jr”. that’s easy! I thought your 12 year old was the “Diva”. What happened to that? Don’t like it anymore? OK how ’bout “Mini Me”? According to your dear friend Gina – that’s a right on! And last but not least..your hubby: I’ve got a few for him…All animal stuff of course! 1.”Rikki Timmi Tavi”, 2.”Rin Tin Tim” 3. “Dr. Doolittle” or “Dr. D” for short.

For Husband, you could try Lord and Master like Kathy uses…..

OK – you definitely have to do something about your naming convention – everytime you call your husband “Tom” it freaks me out – for obvious reasons!
And honestly I think “miniMe” is almost more appropriate for son than daughter. My suggestions are:

    1) husband: Hubby (obvious and not confusing)
    2) Son: Son1
    3) “Amy”: Mean Diva
    4) Blond Goddess is perfect

Sure you will make fun of these in some way but I live to serve!

    My votes:

    Husband—–”Tim (not his real name)”

14 yo son—- “Josh (not his real name)”

12 yo daughter—–”Abby (not her real name)”
